Privacy Policy
Effective April 21, 2026. This policy explains how Eunoia Consulting Ltd. collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information.
1. Who we are
Eunoia Consulting Ltd. ("Eunoia", "we", "us", or "our") is a private company incorporated under the laws of British Columbia, Canada, with its principal place of business in Lake Country, British Columbia. We provide business and AI consulting services to clients in Canada and internationally.
This Privacy Policy applies to the website located at eunoiaconsulting.net and to any services, content, or communications we provide in connection with it (collectively, the "Services").
2. Our commitments
We handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), the Personal Information Protection Act (BC) (PIPA), and — where applicable — the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside. In short: we collect only what we need, we explain why, we keep it secure, and we do not sell your information. Ever.
3. Information we collect
We collect personal information in the following circumstances:
- Contact form submissions. When you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, company, project interest, budget range, and message you provide. These fields are used exclusively to respond to your inquiry.
- Direct correspondence. If you email, call, or message us directly, we retain the contents of those communications as part of our ordinary business records.
- Engagement information. If you become a client, we collect the information reasonably necessary to deliver services — which may include business documents, data, systems access, and other materials you share with us. That information is governed by the terms of our engagement agreement, which supplements this Policy.
- Automatically collected information. Like most websites, we (and our analytics providers) collect anonymous technical information when you visit this site, including IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and timestamps. This information is used in aggregate to understand site performance and usage.
- Cookies and similar technologies. We use a limited number of cookies and similar technologies (see Section 7).
4. How we use your information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- to respond to inquiries and communicate with you;
- to evaluate, scope, propose, and deliver consulting services;
- to manage our relationship with you, including invoicing and record-keeping;
- to maintain, improve, and secure the Services, including analytics and troubleshooting;
- to comply with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations; and
- for any other purpose you explicitly consent to, or that is reasonably apparent from the circumstances of the collection.
We do not use personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.
5. Legal basis for processing
Where applicable, we process personal information on the basis of one or more of the following: your consent (express or implied); the performance of a contract with you; compliance with a legal obligation; or our legitimate interests in operating and improving our business in a manner you would reasonably expect.
6. Disclosure of your information
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We may disclose personal information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service providers. We share information with trusted third-party service providers who support our operations (for example: email delivery, cloud hosting, analytics, accounting, and payment processing). These providers are bound by confidentiality obligations and are permitted to use the information only for the purpose of providing services to us.
- Professional advisors. We may share information with our legal, accounting, and insurance advisors when reasonably necessary.
- Business transfers. If Eunoia is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to customary confidentiality protections.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or other valid legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of others.
Some of our service providers may be located outside of Canada. In that case, your information may be stored or processed in other jurisdictions and may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.
7. Cookies and analytics
This site uses cookies and similar technologies to support basic functionality and to measure performance. We use:
- Google Analytics 4 — measures anonymized, aggregated site usage. IP anonymization is enabled.
- Vercel Analytics — provides performance and Core Web Vitals data from our hosting provider. Vercel Analytics does not use cookies and does not track individuals.
- Apollo Website Tracker — identifies business visitors at the company level using IP-based firmographic matching, so we can understand which kinds of organisations are exploring our services. Apollo may identify individual people in the United States if the site operator enables person-level tracking in the Apollo dashboard; this feature is not enabled for visitors from Canada or other jurisdictions outside the U.S.
You can disable cookies through your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics using the official opt-out browser add-on.
8. Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, to deliver our services, and to comply with our legal, tax, and professional-records obligations. When personal information is no longer needed, we either delete it or irreversibly anonymize it.
9. Security
We maintain physical, technical, and administrative safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. These measures include encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege practices, and reputable cloud providers. However, no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- withdraw consent to our collection, use, or disclosure of personal information (subject to legal or contractual restrictions);
- request deletion of personal information where we no longer have a lawful reason to retain it; and
- file a complaint with a privacy regulator — in Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13. We will respond within thirty (30) days of receiving a verified request.
11. Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, individuals under the age of 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, contact us and we will promptly delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be brought to your attention through the Services or by direct communication where we have your contact details.
