For general contractors · $1M to $10M · BC and Alberta

Websites, bid follow-up and dashboards built for general contractors.

I ran a GC's operations for twelve years and managed $200M of work. The website is table stakes; what a GC actually needs is the bid follow-up nobody on the team does, a tender tracker, and one board the office opens on Monday. I build all three, and I stay on to run them.

Where general contractors leak jobs

Three places the money goes quiet.

Bids priced, submitted, never followed up

The estimator moves to the next one. The follow-up sequence wins the ones you already paid to price.

Tenders tracked in inboxes and memory

Invitations, addenda, deadlines and go/no-go in five places. The tender platform puts them in one.

The owner is the only dashboard

Every number lives in your head. Kingpost and the Operations Build Retainer take it out.

What the site has to do

A general contractor website that books the job.

Not a brochure. Every page is written for the person deciding at 9 pm, and every form works from a phone on site.

  • Project portfolio by sector with real photos and scope
  • Prequalification and capabilities page that answers what a developer asks
  • Careers page that actually recruits, because that's half your traffic
  • Bid and tender intake wired to a tracker, not a shared inbox
  • GeneralContractor schema, safety and bonding details visible

Questions general contractors ask

Straight answers.

What is the Operations Build Retainer?

A senior operator, me, in your office one session a week, shipping one constraint-removing system a month: bid follow-up, job costing, change orders, scheduling, cash. $7,000 CAD a month, month to month, and ten hours a week back in the first thirty days or the next month is free. Capped at three seats.

What does a website for a general contractor cost in BC?

A Site Rebuild is $3,500 to $6,500 CAD, fixed after a thirty-minute scoping call, and live in about three weeks. That includes a search audit, two design directions, all copy, booking and quote forms, click-to-call, and review widgets.

Do you work with general contractors outside the Okanagan?

Yes. I'm in Lake Country, BC, and work with general contractors across BC and Alberta. Everything is remote except the occasional site visit. Most clients so far are in the Okanagan and the Lower Mainland.

What happens after the site launches?

Most clients keep me on a Care Plan from $600 a month for hosting, edits, monitoring and a monthly read on leads. It's month to month with thirty days notice.

Can you fix our lead follow-up without rebuilding the site?

Yes. The Lead System is $2,500 CAD on its own: every lead into one board, an instant reply by text and email, a three-touch quote follow-up sequence, and a Monday digest. It runs on tools your office already opens.
